The nature of awoxing is as such that they will always find a way to awox they as pilots are adept at finding weaknesses in the system
and this is normally people.
for example I run a corp and I tried put every guard I could find, From the careful control of roles, limiting of access to resources ect ect..
basically all financial decisions had to pass by me and this was told to every member of the corp apon their joining.
well one day a loan was asked by a trustworthy if a little bit na+»ve source too borrow enough isk to purchase a Obelisk to the tune of 1.3 bill, this was extended to him.
Now the awoxer in question simply wielded his director position to momentarily "borrow " said Obe via a polite request saying that it was needed for corp operations and persisted coercing when I was not on, indicating tha time was of the essence...quite brilliant
Feeling obligated due to the loan from me the Obe pilot lent his obe to Awoxer who then sold it and then griefed one of the other directors making it clear he had gotten what he had come for.
he left my corp with the tune of about 3 bill as more isk had been extended to him before hand and it nearly destroyed the fledgling corp...this was embarrassing but I learned a great deal from this awoxer as to their more recent tactics I bear him no ill will for this simple reason
"he even told me he was going to do it"
of course this had been a running joke for a couple of weeks beforehand and so my guard relaxed
he very nearly had me convinced that his actions were for the best of the corp...yet could not wait until the loan was repaid before doing so and so his permanent ban was set in place
awoxing is not dead it has simply evolved into a game of patience and vocal persuasion
I love this game |

Awoxing fundamentally is hacking
all system are flawed due to this simple reason..
people are involved, and that my friends is how they will get in
...give me directors rights and ill find your awoxers for you...

In the 24 hours before the war goes live, it's entirely viable to take down some expensive structures, and add a bunch of hardeners and ECM batteries to the POS. No one is going to touch it then. A high-sec ****-star POS siege is like the least fun thing possible. That used to be true, until marauders gained ECM immunity. Now your ECM-rich POS is simply a loot pi+Šata. Till you form a response fleet to kill the bastion enabled marauders... Which you are unlikely to have since the reason the wardeccers chose your corp is that you're smaller than they are.
There is truth to that statement
This is truly the game for the underdog

There is also truth in that statement a thousand people are useless if they don't turn up
but the RL issues don't wait for expressions of loyalty to happen
it is better to have multiple options available to you so having good outer corp relations would be a godsend in those time of poor turnout and it can give you a heads up about the awoxers of the future based on toon reputation |

Anything social in origin draws the trolls, games are no different
